Just over a month or so ago, I realised that my visit to London to see family, coincided with the Spring FF Fest. Perfect timing. Would be a good opportunity to meet people in FPL community and chat about FPL (and football). There was a quiz, there was a panel discussion and more.
The FF Fest was in Leake Street Arches which is below Waterloo Station. To get there, you go through the Graffiti Tunnel.
I got to meet Sam and Lee from FPL Family – been watching their YouTube channel from almost the start. Ended up being on their quiz team – we finished 3rd I think so not bad. Also met the one and only Mark Sutherns too. From FPL Blackbox, founder of FF Scout and formally was involved in the actual FPL game.
As mentioned there was a panel discussion with talk on things such as the possible future of FPL and the much talked about possible changes coming (chips, new player positions etc). It was presented by official FPL show presenters James Richardson and Kelly Somers and an expert panel of Mark, Sam (FPL Family) and Ross (FPL Raptor).
If you ever get chance to go and you’re an FPL fan, recommend going. There next one is in August.
Here are some photos from the night.
