Gameweek 16 was the 2nd week in a row where I have got exactly the “safety score”. The safety score is what the web site LiveFPL call the minimum score your team needs to get a green arrow. So I got a small green arrow but does mean I am just inside the top 300k – and just passed the 1000 points mark.

I got 72 points (-4) this week. Most gameweeks, that would be a pretty big green arrow. But it was one of those weeks where some of the highly owned players all scored – although the average score was 55 points so not that high.

I transferred in Bowen and Ronaldo for Jota and Kane. Bowen was a punt. In good form but Jota has been good this season. There was a risk be rested as there was possible injury – and he ended up not starting and played about 30 minutes – and maybe should have scored. Getting rid of Kane was obvious since he was not playing – plus hes been so poor this season. Ronaldo had a good fixture and United have great fixture run.

United in the end were not that good but Ronaldo still managed to score. Problem right now though is there have been some COVID cases at United so there is risk match could be postponed.

Screenshot above shows that I just about got green arrow. Was a 10k green arrow. Looking at my rank overall, I have not really gone anywhere in the last 7 weeks. This busy Christmas period, and the possibility of matches being postponed, this could really change things drastically!

I am now 36 points away from top 100k so within reach. Even 50k is 53 points away. Not even half way through the season so 🤞🏼

Fanteam

I don’t usually talk about my Fanteam. Like FPL, I started off the season pretty well as was in the top 5000 so could have won money if it ended then. Similar to FPL, when started doing worse, Fanteam got worse. This week my team was ranked 202nd out of all teams.
