Finished gameweek 33 on 78 points. Started the week a bit annoyed because I decided to bench Mings and he scored 15 points! Ended up good but what could have been! 726k gameweek rank and up to 79k.
After the restart/World Cup, after a few good gameweeks, I was inside the top 1m. My goal/aim for final position was 100k. I was about 80 points off lots of season still to play and all the chips.
Scored 419 points this month.
The aim now? I think maybe 25k is in sight? Its going to be more difficult now with no chips left but we have some double gameweeks so potential for big points. I am 16 points off 50k, 37 points off 25k. Doable?
Since World Cup, have of course had some luck and getting some good form players getting good points.
Standout players since World Cup:
- Luke Shaw 15 points in GW19
- Mitoma 10 points GW21
- Triple captaining Rashford in GW22 (60 points). Bruno got 12 points same weekend
- Saka 15 points GW23
- Ben White 13 points GW25
- Mitoma 13 points GW26
- Brighton players in GW27 + Kane (13pts) + Toney (13pts)
- Mings and Tripper GW29
- Grealish 12 points GW30
- Watkins 16 points GW31
- Saka 13 points GW32
Many people will have had these players. Although sometimes its case of being lucky with picking the “right” Brighton players, or the right Arsenal player.
Plan for GW34? Not sure but I rolled transfer in GW33 so have 2 transfers. Possibly will take a hit. On watchlist is KDB, Salah, Isak, Jota.
